Shaine Morgan is from Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love, in the U.S.A. At the age of thirteen she moved with her family to Dublin, Ireland for one year. This was followed by two years in Virginia Water, a small town in Surrey, England, before moving back to Philadelphia in 2005.
Shaine graduated from Bard College with a major in Comparative Literature, focusing heavily on Japanese literature. Her senior thesis studied the change in perception of the Japanese fox, from the original folklore surrounding them through the Meiji Era and into the modern day.
She believes that encouraging her students to be more active in smaller groups helps them to build their confidence in larger group settings. She hopes that by having fun and catering each class to her students personal interests to make a fun environment where her students can further their English abilities.
Shaine loves writing and is currently in the process of writing her own fantasy novel. Her other hobbies include music, dancing, traveling, and cooking.
